Hi! I’m Marla Anson and welcome to my blog! Though this site is called Marla Anson Photography, I post all sorts of stuff as I treat this site as a diary. Currently I am a stay at home mom to Trent and Hunter, whom you will sometimes see pictures of if they are being especially cute. I am a veteran of the United States Army, in which I was a Combat Documentation Production Specialist. Or, a photographer/videographer (though I didn’t really do any video except for when I was in school.) I am a little burnt out from being a photographer for the Army so I am taking a bit of a break to concentrate on my family. This website and a few other things are reminders that I don’t want to completely give up my photography, even though I am taking a break.
My wonderfully supportive husband, Garrick, works for the federal government. You can read his blog at ✪ɯoɔ˙uosuɐʞɔıɹɹɐƃ✪. He usually has something funny, geeky or related to motorcycles. He’s my go to guy for anything related to computers and the internet when I don’t know what I am doing and the one who helped set me up with this blog.
I also help administer my Mothers site Alainn Beaded Jewelry. She makes her own necklaces, bracelets and earrings. They are so beautiful. I highly recommend buying something. She is a perfectionist and each one of her pieces of jewelry is really well made. They make wonderful, one of a kind presents!
